Yoga in The Mud
PooOooooooOooooOooo mud!
Tanda and I
did yoga
in very squishy mud
our toes sunk
and it helped us (maybe just me)
keep our centers balanced
Yoga class is stressful
and
should always
be done
in mushiness!
Glurp.

Sizzling Hearts
This was a re-creation of Valentines Day 2008. My date and I made heart shaped hamburgers and chocolate covered strawberries. :)

Failed Attempt At Awesomeness
jiggler style
The next morning I went to class 30 minutes early so I could turn my creation into the centerpiece of the classroom table
Unfortunately
The top layer of the jello ripped off
as I was trying to upside down it on a plate
to put in the center of the table
My peers filed in
Everyone was confused
This is what I heard:
"What is jello doing on the table? And what is a banana doing inside the jello?"
My plans had been foiled.
Speaking of foil
tin foil
I'm hungry
And a tin foil dinner sounds nice.
No more jello.

El coque es mexicana mejor
This was my trip to Mexico. I loved waking up in the morning and drawing back the big curtain to my patio to see palm trees, but what was particularly breathtaking was the sound. Lying in my bed I felt as if I could hear the sun beat down on the clear sparkling water. Hearing beauty is sometimes better than seeing it. Have you ever heard a sparkle? It sounds like this:
The tourist attraction centers were very ritzy but being in the heart of Mexico made my heart so sad. Wild dogs roamed free and children slept in the street with no blankets. Most grocery stores had a little less food than a 7-11 and offered tasty treats such as this:
My favorite moment was watching a movie on the beach. Shopping was also fun, especially bargaining. I would set a price and when the seller wouldn't come down I would walk away and it was entertaining to see the sellers run after me. I bought my first family heirloom in Mexico. It's a pretty turquoise necklace that I will one day give to my first born baby girl.
I did myself a disfavor when I came home. Do I dare say it? I went to Taco Bell. My friends in Exhibit A would be disappointed by this decision. My stomach didn't hurt after consumption and the coke was lacking real sugar. Needless to say, I longed for Mexico!

Shake Your Money Maker!
My money needs a makeover. This last year I've gotten into some sloppy spending habits that need boundaries. I know it sounds small but mind you I go to school full time and work less than part.I've decided to try to save up 1,000 dollars and once that is obtained I will take the next flight of stairs to 5,000 buck-a-roos. I plan to keep this up until I am at least into 5 figures. I think a lot of happiness comes from control, planning and evaluating. Wish me luck! Or better yet, control!

Parcel Post
I'm not going to lie, finals week was out of control this year. I was up on campus at wee hours of the morning (3:33 AM to be exact!) One of my favorite turn-outs was for my Independent Photography class. At the beginning of the semester we made contracts of what we were going to do with dirt cheap plastic Holga cameras. I vowed to take creepy carnival/amusement park pictures and took a little road trip to California. After processing the film I then had the task of figuring out how to present my images in a memorable Art Major sort of fashion. Thus, I turned my pictures into postcards and presented them to the class in your standard gray mailbox. Pretty spiffy, eh?
When I went to print my dark and graven images the lady ringing me up noted that the images were "cute." For those of you who don't know, cute is the worst compliment you can give to an art major. It's like calling someone fat "big boned" It just isn't right. *shrugs*

Bubble Gum Bubble Gum In a Dish.....
I have an inkling to get a roll of quarters and place a shiney 25 cent piece in every possible gum ball machine and/or pay phone in Logan. Just to make the world a happy place. And to endorse cavities in small children :)
