After meeting the two new editions to the family I headed over to Roy High School and was paid to take pictures of the Roy colorguard. I drove my Mom home and accidentally ran a red light. We laughed about it and talked about life. I might just move to California and live with a relative for a while. I don't know the exact details yet but everything will be revealed in time.

Shay the Shy dog

She does tricks. Shay sits, lay s or stands when prompted. She falls asleep next to my brothers bed at night. And she even smiles for pictures! Say cheese Shay.Good dog.

In 425 hours.....

.... you will be an aunt! That is the text I received this morning, although I'm sure Rachel meant to say in four to five hours instead of four hundred and twenty five! :) lols. My Dad was remarking on how Rachel is always so considerate and having the baby on a day everyone happened to have off was a case in point. Being presidents day, my Mom suggested that Rachel name her baby Abe. Others thought George would be suitable.

Rachel was a trooper. She didn't complain about a single thing and had the sweetest smile when holding Anna, whom I have endearingly nicknamed little cupcake.

The Rococo

The Swing by Jean-Honore Fragonard, it's my favorite. I love the cupcake pink dress and the flirtatious way in which the shoe is being kicked off. It makes me giggle to think that this painting was considered "boudoir" because of the sexual opportunity shown by the legs of the lover. *Sigh* makes me want to swing in a fluffy dress.

The bear, chocolate kisses and indulgent snicker doodles were dandy but I'd have to say that my favorite part of the gift was the box it came in!

Best Bathroom Ever!

I re-decorated my bathroom to look like a peaceful spa. The colors are mostly white, celery green, and pale yellow. Here's a look.

Snow Globe

Walking home from my night class I couldn't help but notice the snow, it was sparkling! It looked as though someone had sprinkled gold glitter over it. I felt calm and excited all at the same time.
